Psalms 74:4-8

4 Your adversaries have ^aroared in the midst of Your meeting place;
They have set up their ^bown signs as ^csigns.
5 It ^{▼▼Lit is known as}seems like one bringing up
His ^eaxe into a ^{▼▼Lit thicket}forest of trees.
6 And now they break down ^{▼▼Lit altogether}all its ^hcarved work
With axe and hammers.
7 They have ^{▼▼Lit set on fire
,} ^jburned Your sanctuary ^{▼▼Or To the ground they...}to the ground;
They have ^ldefiled the dwelling place of Your name.
8 They ^msaid in their heart, “Let’s ^{▼▼Lit altogether}completely ^{▼▼Or oppress}subdue them.”
They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
